About Amee Lewis

Amee is originally from the UK, (where she worked as a helicopter mechanic in the Royal Navy) and has been exploring New Zealand’s hills and mountains for over thirteen years now.

She is never happier when she is standing on the top of a mountain, (enjoying the stunning views this country has to offer) with a coffee in her hand (she always tramps with her camp cooker!). Her all-time favourite tramp was to Everest Base Camp in 2016.

In her spare time, (when she has any) she solo-manages her lifestyle block in Canterbury and volunteers for her local Search & Rescue.
