One of my favorite walks in Auckland is North Head and Devonport. There are many things to do and see in Devonport Village and the views from North Head are magnificent.

Today was clear and sunny, which called for a walk and climb to look over Auckland from up high from Mount Victoria in Devonport
Easy 4km walk around Belmont and Bayswater on Auckland’s North Shore. Shoal Bay estuary birdlife, the recycled totara Bayswater Bridge, Harbour Bridge views, and Daily Bread café on route.
Beautiful view of Auckland city and harbour from the waterfront path to the left of the ferry wharf in Devonport.
The dark grey sky and strong winds did not bode well for our walk from Narrow Neck Beach (north of Devonport) to Ngaratinga Bay – a mini coast to coast loop.
