From the car park, walk uphill on Tripp Street and continue straight past Davies Street.

You will now be on a gravel road.

It is a steep climb to the top of the track. Along the way, you can enjoy paddocks to the lefts and bush and mountains to the right. Before you reach the top, you will come across an alternate track about halfway up. Following this track back to Pye Road makes for a shorter walk.

Continue straight past this alternate track to the top, at Ribbonwood Rd. There is a rewarding view over the plains below from here.

There is a new housing estate on this road, so the houses and their gardens are a lovely sight to take in. Head left on Ribbonwood Rd and stop at the lookout point halfway through. At the end of the road, turn left onto Pye Rd, continue on to Davies Street until you are back where you started.

This walk is a shorter version of the Ribbonwood Road Circuit. For the Circuit, instead of turning left at Ribbonwood Rd, head right. Then make a left at Sharrat Rd and another left at the first intersection. Follow the only road until you are back on Pye and Davies.
