13 km one way • 4-5 hours • Medium • Walk or bike the Richmond Trail clockwise as it’s mostly downhill. You’ll need to be picked up at the end of the walk.

8.5 km from Tekapo Hot Springs or 13 km from Tekapo town • 3 hours + 20mins if from town • Medium • It’s a good hike to the top of Mt John.
3 km • 1.5 hours • Medium • Starting at Tekapo Hot Springs it’s up hill all the way to the top of Mt John. There is a small loop at the top of Mt John.
2.8 km one way • 1 hour • Very easy • Flat gravelled walk from Tekapo town to the hot springs with lovely views of Lake Tekapo along the way.
5.6 km • 1.5 hours • Easy • Enjoy unique views along the Lake Tekapo Peninsula walk. This walk is closed mid-Oct to mid-Dec due to lambing.

5 km • 3 Hours return • Easy short day walk along the Fox River to the caves. Enjoy plenty of river crossing along the way.
Roys Peak Track is 16 km • 5 to 7 hours return • Hard • 6 km drive from Wanaka – walk up for the sunset, it’s truly amazing. Full walk details.
As we hiked the Hooker Valley Track, we saw snow-capped mountains, crossed three swing bridges, and marveled at a glacier lake with floating icebergs!

0.7 km • 40 mins round trip • Medium • A popular hiking trail located in Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park on the South Island of New Zealand.
2.1 km • 1 Hour • Medium to Hard • My walk up the Tiki Trail to the Skyline Gondola in Queenstown. I did the walk in just under 1 hour and took the Skyline gondola back down.
14 km return • 4-5 hours • Medium • Start at Coopers Creek car park and walk to the stunning Ryde Falls. Great views across Mt Oxford and the surrounding hills along the way.
12 km • 2 hours one way • Easy • Snout Track is a walk to the head or point through light scrub and bush. You can start the Snout Track from the Snout Track carpark or you can start from Picton town centre.
4 km • 2 Hours • Very Easy • Starting from the hospital end of Oxford Terrace, follow this riverside path to see some eels before continuing along it. You’ll soon arrive at Victoria Square – a historic marketplace and popular spot for events! From there head into Cambridge Terrace where you can find many bars & restaurants. Be sure to stop off by John Court house which houses the Museum Of Canterbury Earthquake Historic Site Information Centre and Art Gallery.
4 km • 2 to 3 hours • Easy • Washpen Falls is not free to walk, but only $10 and well worth it. Has historical sections, a stunning waterfall, amazing birdlife, old WWII targets & caves.
16 km • 2 days • Medium • Drive 26 km south of Fox Glacier and enjoy this medium walk up the Copland Track to Welcome Flat hut and enjoy a soak in the hot pools.
1.2 km • 55 minutes • Easy • See tunnels, old gold mines, races and walls of stacked stone as you walk through amazing moss covered ancient forest.
1 km • 30 minutes • Very Easy • Walk along sand dunes then through dense coastal forest to Dune Lake.
1.3 km • 20 minutes • Very Easy • See New Zealand’s tallest trees with the added drama of the wild coast & beach.
620m • 10 Minutes • Very Easy • Walk through the beautiful native forest out to a big stunning beach.
