The Walk

You’re looping around the edges of Raglan, mostly following the Opotoru River estuary with the harbour never far away. The route crosses three bridges, passes the campground, swings past the aerodrome, and takes in the Kaitoke Walkway, which has the best estuary views of the lot. A section through the residential streets brings you back to the start.

The full route and turn-by-turn directions are in the free map, which you can download below.

The track is mostly flat footpaths and roads. There are a few steps near the end at Lily Street, but there’s an easy bypass via Government Road if you need to skip them.

Note: There’s been ongoing construction work in central Raglan through early 2026. Check conditions locally before you head out.
