The walk took me through a delightful exploration of Raglan town and its surrounding estuary
Starting from the wharf, I followed the footpath along Wallis Road towards the town centre. Turning onto Cliff Street and crossing a footbridge over the estuary, then continuing along the roadway beside the estuary, I passed a nearby campsite, enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
Along the route, I crossed bridges and traversed a one-way bridge before ascending a hill towards the school. Turning onto the Kaitoke Walkway, I enjoyed great views of the estuary’s natural beauty. Reaching Robertson Street, I could exit or continue to the end, where I followed Robertson Road and crossed Main Road into Cross Street.
After walking through the Recreation Ground, I reached a car park and followed a track leading to Lily Street, concluding the loop with scenic views of the estuary, Raglan town, and the surrounding landscape.
Crossing Government Road, I descended down Lily Street, concluding a delightful excursion in this charming coastal town.
